FAQs

Frequntly asked any questions

We are proud to call Clyde North our neighborhood. As locals serving locals, we love feeding our community and making new friends one plate of Kottu Roti at a time. Whether you are a lifelong fan of island cuisine or trying Sri Lankan street food for the very first time, we welcome you to pull up to the truck and taste the difference that true tradition makes.

Where are you parked, and what are your hours?
You can permanently find our truck parked at 55 Palladium Circuit, Clyde North, VIC 3978. We are fired up and serving fresh island street food from Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
Do you move around, or do you stay in Clyde North?
Clyde North is our main home base, but we do occasionally roll out for special community festivals, pop-ups, or private catering events. We always recommend checking our social media or giving us a quick call at 0450 262 857 to confirm we are on-site for the day!
How spicy is the food? Can I adjust the heat?
Sri Lankan street food is famous for its bold, fiery kick! However, because we cook our signature dishes like Kottu Roti completely fresh to order, we can easily adjust the spice levels to suit your taste. Just let our team know if you prefer it mild, medium, or true island spicy!
Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
Absolutely! A huge part of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine is naturally plant-based. We offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes, including our Egg & Veg Kottu, Cheese Kottu, Plain Hoppers, Vegetable Rolls, and our comforting Dhal & Coconut curry plates.
Is your food Halal-friendly?
Yes, we use Halal-friendly meat options for our protein dishes, ensuring everyone in our local community can enjoy a genuine taste of the island.
Can I pre-order my food?
Yes, and we highly recommend it during peak dinner rushes! Because everything is made to order right on the grill, lines can get long. You can beat the wait by calling ahead to pre-order your meal at 0450 262 857.
