As a Sri Lankan living in Melbourne, it is incredibly hard to find authentic Kottu Roti that actually hits the spot. This truck is the real deal! The Chicken Kottu has the perfect spice level, and you can hear them chopping it fresh on the grill while you wait. The flavor takes me straight back to the streets of Colombo. Clyde North is so lucky to have this!

Absolutely obsessed with their Egg Hoppers! They are perfectly crispy and lacy on the edges but soft and fluffy in the middle, exactly how they should be. Paired with the seeni sambol, it’s a total game-changer. The staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling. Make sure to call ahead to pre-order because they get busy, and for good reason!

We hired the Taste of Ceylon truck to cater for a private backyard birthday party, and our guests are still talking about the food! Having fresh hoppers and kottu made to order right in front of everyone added such a fun, vibrant atmosphere. The team was professional, fast, and accommodating to everyone's dietary needs.
